Red Bananas: The Wrong Kind of Bark

Finlay finds it hard to concentrate at school and is usually thinking about something else when the teacher addresses the class. This is a lovely story, wittily told, which rolls along nicely and has a satisfying ending. Garry Parsons’ lively colour illustrations, accompanied by speech bubbles, illuminate every page and combine with the text to make a funny and heartwarming story for new readers.
